A weekly archery class series for beginners to learn fundamentals and safety. Suitable for ages 8 and older.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive 10-15 minutes early to sign in and hear the safety briefing; fundamentals and safety come first and you'll get hands on with a bow right away.
- 2.The class will be small, with other beginners and a patient instructor, so the vibe is supportive and low pressure.
- 3.Ask ahead whether gear is provided or you should bring your own, and make sure to wear closed-toe shoes and nothing loose that could snag a bowstring.
- 4.Since this is an outdoor park setting at Independence Oaks, bring sunscreen, water, and a hat; plan for varied weather and parking near the archery area.
- 5.Go in with the mindset that your shots will improve with practice, stay curious, and take the chance to ask questions about technique.
