An interactive session for faculty on the new Academic Alert system at Oakland University.
What to Expect
- 1.You'll get a quick live walk-through of the Academic Alert system with a short demo, so bring your laptop or tablet and have your OU credentials handy to follow along.
- 2.The room will be a library training space with faculty and staff, so the vibe is professional but not stuffy, and a few quick prompts or polls will keep things moving.
- 3.Plan to arrive a few minutes early to park and check in at Kresge Library, then head to the training room.
- 4.Food options in the library are usually limited during the session, so bring a bottle of water and grab coffee before or after.
- 5.Take notes on how the Academic Alert workflow maps to your courses and consider jotting one or two concrete actions you can implement next week.
