What to Expect

• 1.You're going to see a string of stages, pop up vendors, and food trucks along Cass Corridor. Wear comfy shoes and a small backpack because you'll be on your feet most of the day. Bring water and a light layer for the evening as it cools down.
• 2.Expect a bustling, friendly crowd with lots of energy but not aggressive; if you want a break, drift into quieter side streets or grab a seat near the edges.
• 3.Food lines can be long during peak times, so plan to snack early or late; cash is handy for quick purchases while many vendors also accept cards.
• 4.Map out a rough route before you go and pick a couple of anchor stages to follow; know your exit point and a meet-up spot in case you lose your friends.
• 5.As a first timer, the festival is easy to dip into solo; start near a stage you like and strike up a quick conversation with someone nearby or in line.
