Downtown Rochester Magical Mural Tour

About This Event

Explore the beauty of art in downtown Rochester, featuring locally painted murals on display throughout the city.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll start near the Rochester Downtown Development offices at 431 South Main Street and wander the downtown core to spot murals on storefronts and walls, so bring a phone or camera to capture closeups.
• 2.The crowd is casual and friendly, with chances to chat about a favorite mural or just soak in the art at your own pace.
• 3.Downtown Rochester has plenty of cafes and bakeries along Main Street, so plan a coffee break before or after the walk.
• 4.Since it's outdoors and weather dependent, wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and check the forecast for wind or rain as you may cover several blocks.
• 5.If murals are new to you, look for wall plaques for artist notes and context, then dive deeper afterward if something catches your eye.
