Evening of English

About This Event

Join us for an evening of learning English. Learn grammar, vocabulary, and practice your conversational skills. Great for all levels. Registration Required. No childcare provided.

What to Expect

• 1.Get there 10-15 minutes early to sign in, grab a seat, and assess which conversation group you’ll join.
• 2.Expect mixed levels; there’s usually a grammar mini-lesson followed by guided conversations, and the facilitator will pair you with others at a similar level.
• 3.Bring a notebook or device to jot down new phrases; after class, review the vocabulary lists and try using one new word in a sentence tonight.
• 4.Follow library etiquette—keep voices down in quiet areas and use the ESL resources the staff can point you to after the session.
• 5.Parking around Novi Public Library on West 10 Mile Road can fill up, so consider arriving a bit early or using nearby lots.
