Fact Finders Book Club - Grades 1-3

About This Event

A monthly nonfiction book club for curious kids in grades 1-3 to explore real-world topics like dinosaurs, space, and animals.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive a bit early to sign in at the library desk and settle in before the session starts.
• 2.Expect a mix of a short read-aloud, a guided discussion about the month's nonfiction topic, and a quick hands-on activity.
• 3.The library setting means a quiet, kid-friendly space—use your indoor voices so everyone can hear and participate.
• 4.Bring a small notebook or sketchpad to jot questions, interesting facts, or a quick drawing from the topic.
• 5.If it's your first time, ask the librarian about check-in, what materials are provided, and whether a parent needs to stay.
