Bring in your old costumes, or just grab a new one! We are collecting gently used Halloween costumes for all ages, and we want you to walk out with a new (to you) costume! Drop off gently used costumes to the Youth Reference Desk Monday, September 8th to
What to Expect
- 1.Drop off gently used costumes at the Youth Reference Desk by September 8. Make sure they’re clean and complete, with any accessories included, and note the sizes if possible so others can plan.
- 2.Bring a bag to carry finds, and check for completeness (zippers, buttons, and accessories). If something is missing, you can swap for something else.
- 3.If you’re shopping with kids, plan a quick browse together and point out sizes early; watch for small parts and choking hazards.
- 4.Plan to arrive a bit early for the best selection; popular sizes and costumes go fast, especially around family-friendly events at the library.
- 5.Be courteous to volunteers and other shoppers—donate what you won’t use, and if you take something, leave a smaller item behind for others to enjoy.
