About This Event

Honoring Memories, Celebrating Tradition — Discover the history, symbolism, and cultural traditions of Día de los Muertos.

What to Expect

• 1.Expect a cultural overview of Día de los Muertos, including its history, symbolism, and traditions, rather than a broad festival-style program.
• 2.Arrive a little early so you can find the right room inside the Oakland Center and settle in before the program begins.
• 3.Check Oakland Center or event updates for parking instructions and any room changes, especially if you are unfamiliar with the campus.
• 4.If you have questions about a symbol or tradition, keep them in mind for any discussion or Q&A; the event description emphasizes learning and cultural context.
• 5.The listing does not mention food, hands-on activities, or a dress code, so check with the organizer before making plans around those details.
