What to Expect
- 1.Get there 10–15 minutes early to check in at the desk and snag a comfy seat in the kids' area; the room tends to fill up quickly for this monthly club.
- 2.Have a simple character idea ready, but the volunteers will walk your child through the Amazing Tales setup and character creation so it stays accessible.
- 3.Expect a small, supportive group where everyone takes turns; encourage your kid to share and listen, but don’t force participation.
- 4.Check the library’s policy on snacks and quiet space afterward; bring water and plan for a quick wind-down in the kids' area if allowed.
- 5.If your child is new to RPGs, stay nearby at first to help with nerves, but let them take the lead and try the adventure on their own as soon as they’re comfortable.
