An informative experience for high school students to meet with representatives from various colleges and universities.
What to Expect
- 1.Plan a quick route through the expo floor by listing the colleges you really want to visit and prioritizing them. Bring a one-page sheet with your interests, GPA, and planned major so you can ask focused questions on the spot.
- 2.Bring 5–10 copies of a simple resume or a college-contact sheet to hand to reps.
- 3.Have a short introduction ready and a few core questions about admissions deadlines, scholarships, and campus life.
- 4.Take notes during conversations, collect business cards, and use a campus map to avoid backtracking.
- 5.Dress comfortably and wear sneakers; you’ll be on your feet most of the morning. Give yourself extra time for parking and check-in, and bring water to stay hydrated.
