A summer dance performance by Next Level Dance held at the Rochester Municipal Park.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive early to grab a grassy patch or bring a blanket; this is an outdoor park show in Municipal Park, so seating is informal.
- 2.Expect a string of contemporary dance pieces performed outdoors; you can settle in and watch without any formal seating or program required interactions.
- 3.Pack water, sunscreen, and a hat; shade can be limited and it can get sunny in August.
- 4.Parking can fill up, so give yourself 15 minutes extra and be prepared to walk a bit from the lot.
- 5.If you are new to dance, you do not need to know the terminology; just watch the movement and energy and you may feel drawn to a piece.
