About This Event

The Oakland University swimming and diving team opens its 2026-27 season against Youngstown State.

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive about an hour before 5 pm to park on campus and find your seats at OU Credit Union O'Rena on 569 Pioneer Drive.
• 2.You'll see fast swimming and the crowd gets loud during heats and you can stay low key if you just want to observe.
• 3.Concessions lines can be long during intermissions, so bring a water bottle and plan meals between races.
• 4.Check the heat sheet when you arrive so you know which events are coming up and where to look for your team's swimmers.
• 5.If you are new to meets, sit somewhere with a clear view of the scoreboard and avoid blocking aisles when lanes switch.
