Once Upon a Genre: A Genre Book Discussion

About This Event

Genre Book Discussion featuring 'Mad Mabel' by Sally Hepworth (Thriller/Mystery).

What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early to grab a good seat in the library meeting room. The space can fill up quickly before the discussion starts.
• 2.Expect a friendly, low pressure crowd and a moderator who invites input but doesn't force you to speak. If you just want to listen, you can.
• 3.If you're new to book clubs, skim a quick synopsis or jot a couple of thoughts to share so you have something to contribute.
• 4.Parking is usually free around the Rochester Hills Public Library at 500 Olde Towne Road, and the event is held in the library's public rooms with accessible entrances.
• 5.Food is typically not part of library programs and you should keep outside meals out; you can usually bring a water bottle, and the library may have a cafe or vending nearby.
