Stargazing at Victory Park

About This Event

Spend the evening under the stars at Victory Park and enjoy a night of stargazing. No registration required.

What to Expect

• 1.On arrival you'll want a dark open patch in Victory Park where you can spread a blanket or sit on a small chair and look straight up without glare.
• 2.The crowd will be casual and friendly since there's no registration, so you can chat if you want or just quietly enjoy the sky.
• 3.Pack water and a snack because concessions may be limited and restrooms could be farther from your spot.
• 4.Dress in layers because October nights in Michigan get chilly once the sun goes down.
• 5.If you're new to stargazing, bring a beginner friendly sky map or download a simple astronomy app and don't hesitate to ask volunteers for guidance.
