What to Expect

• 1.Plan to arrive a bit early so you can park, check in, and find the event space without rushing.
• 2.Bring a notebook or device for notes; the talk will cover dates, empires, and key players, and there may be visuals you’ll want to reference later.
• 3.Expect a concise, classroom‑style presentation followed by a short Q&A; keep questions focused and brief so others get a turn.
• 4.The setting is a quiet retirement community restaurant, so speak softly, mind the aisles, and be respectful of residents and staff.
• 5.If you want to grab a bite or drink, check the restaurant hours in advance and plan to order before or after the talk.
