The Chronicles of Commerce: A D&D Series (Ages 8-11)

About This Event

Dungeons & Dragons adventure series specifically for children ages 8 to 11.

What to Expect

• 1.You'll sit around a kid-friendly dungeon map as the facilitator runs a short, simple D&D quest with pre-made characters, and you and your child will take turns rolling dice and making quick decisions.
• 2.The room is welcoming and kid-focused, with staff helping everyone participate; if your child is shy, the facilitator will call on them gently and keep the pace comfortable.
• 3.Don't plan on bringing a big snack to the session; libraries usually restrict outside food, so feed your kid before and after; water is usually fine.
• 4.Arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in and find the right classroom; parking around the library can be limited after school, so give yourself a bit of extra time.
• 5.Ask staff about the drop-off policy and whether you need to stay; bring a small notebook and pencil so your kid can jot clues, and encourage them to take the lead on a roll to build confidence.
