What to Expect
- 1.Dress in layers and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes; Michigan October nights can be chilly and damp, so bring a light jacket or gloves.
- 2.Bring a flashlight or headlamp for dim trail sections and to keep your group together after dark.
- 3.Arrive a bit early to park and check in; trails can get busy and you want time to map the route.
- 4.Bring a small bag for any candy or small treasures along the trail, if candy stops are part of the experience.
- 5.Stay on the marked path and be respectful of costumed performers; practice good safety and keep kids close.
