A community wellness session focusing on yoga practice for all skill levels.
What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a few minutes early to claim a comfortable spot on the grass and set up your mat or towel. It is an outdoor park session, so expect natural light and a light breeze, and dress in layers.
- 2.This class is for all skill levels; the instructor will offer modifications and simple progressions, so you can work at your own pace.
- 3.Bring water, sunscreen, and maybe a light insect repellent since you are outdoors at a park in the morning.
- 4.Parking at Oakland County Parks can fill up, so plan to arrive a bit early and follow event signage to the meeting area. If you have to walk from a farther lot, give yourself extra time.
- 5.For first timers, start with easy poses like Mountain or Childs Pose and listen to your body. Let the instructor know if you need a modification.
