Baby Storytime

About This Event

An interactive, lapsit storytime including books, songs, and activities to foster lifelong learning! Time is provided after for play and socializing. Ages 0-18 months.

What to Expect

• 1.This is a lapsit session for babies from birth to 18 months, with books, songs, and simple activities. Expect caregivers to hold their babies and join in rather than watch from the sidelines.
• 2.The hour includes time afterward for babies to play and caregivers to socialize, so you can stay for that or leave once storytime wraps up.
• 3.Bring anything your baby usually needs to settle in, such as a bottle, pacifier, or change of clothes. Babies may fuss or need a break, which is normal for this age group.
• 4.Arrive a little early if you can, so you have time to get settled before the 10:15 start. Check with the library about registration, room location, and any current attendance limits.
• 5.The social time is an easy opening to meet other caregivers, but you do not have to make conversation if you would rather focus on your baby.
