Commerce Library Chess Club

About This Event

Join the Commerce Library Chess Club for an evening of strategy and skill. Open to players of various levels.

What to Expect

• 1.There will be a mix of tables with players of all levels set up in the library's common areas, and you'll likely see casual games and maybe a sign up sheet.
• 2.The vibe is relaxed and low pressure, with people keeping voices down in the library.
• 3.Check whether the club provides boards and clocks or if you should bring your own; ask at the front desk when you arrive.
• 4.Food and drink policy usually means no eating at the game tables, but you can hydrate and there are nearby cafes or the library lounge.
• 5.If you're new, introduce yourself, pair up for a quick practice game, and watch a few rounds to learn the pace before jumping in.
