What to Expect
- 1.Arrive a few minutes early to check in and get your cheese‑making station set up; the class mixes demonstration with hands‑on practice, so you’ll want to be ready to jump in when the session starts.
- 2.Dress for mess and bring an apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting dairy on—the mozzarella and burrata process can be a bit hands‑on and sticky.
- 3.You’ll get to shape mozzarella and assemble burrata under a cheesemonger’s guidance; expect short demos followed by individual practice and plenty of chances to ask questions.
- 4.The vibe is collaborative and foodie‑focused—friendly instructors and fellow attendees, with plenty of room to observe, try techniques, and share tips.
- 5.After class, you’ll often have tasting or purchase options at Zingerman’s; parking around Detroit Street can be limited, so plan for street meters or a nearby garage and maybe time for a post‑class bite in Ann Arbor.
