What to Expect

  • 1.You'll start with a quick demo, then roll, stretch, and shape mozzarella and burrata at your station.
  • 2.It's hands-on but guided — you'll be working with the instructors and your fellow students, so ask questions as you go.
  • 3.Dress comfortably and consider bringing an apron; the kitchen can be warm and a little messy as the curd comes together.
  • 4.Plan to arrive a bit early for check-in at Zingerman's Delicatessen; downtown Ann Arbor traffic and parking can be busy.
  • 5.You’ll walk away with practical mozzarella-making tips you can try at home and a better feel for the burrata process.
