A Dungeons & Dragons adventure series specifically for children ages 8 to 11.
What to Expect
- 1.You'll sit at a kid friendly table with character sheets and dice while a librarian or volunteer runs an age appropriate Dungeons and Dragons session.
- 2.The vibe is focused but playful with kids collaborating to solve puzzles and overcome challenges, so expect plenty of chatter and occasional bursts of laughter.
- 3.Food and drink policies at the library usually restrict meals at the tables, so bring water and keep snacks in a bag away from the materials.
- 4.Plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to sign in and get your child settled at the table before the story kicks off.
- 5.If you and your kid are new to D and D, the staff will explain the basics and help your child participate; no prior experience is needed.
